Is it me or does Monday seem like a perpetual wasteland when it comes to anything fun to do with kids??? There are very few story times, playgroups or other free fun activities on Monday and yet it's one of the hardest days of the week, no? Back to school, back to work? Coming off the weekend and everyone readjusting to the rhythms of the work week again just can be quite daunting sometimes.
The weather was too lousy here to go out today but while I was trying to find something fun to do I came across a possibility for us. Apparently, as of January 9th The Please Touch Museum now has a "Story Castle" in the Kids Store that has story times every day at 10:30am and 3:30pm. We happen to have a membership to the Please Touch Museum so this gives us a free daily option for something organized to do if needed. Good to know, huh?
