All Around This World teams up with featured musician, Dan Scholnick, who will introduce you to the South Asian tabla at the Green Line Cafe at 45th and Locust in West Philly. Dan Scholnick is a tabla player and sound designer based in Philadelphia. He plays tabla with Pallabi Chakravorty's ensemble Courtyard Dancers. $5 per person, babies under 6 months are free


The Carnival celebration gains momentum in early August with in the cultural presentations and the shows are almost every night of the week and the night air is filled with the sound of steel bands.
