Happy New Year Friends! Hope you all had a wonderful New Year's Eve! We spent the day celebrating family style complete with a Countdown to Noon balloon drop organized by our friend Jessica Mudrick of DelcoPAMoms and then moved onto a romp at the playground, lunch at Pizzeria Stella, New Year's Eve sundaes at Johnny Rockets and wrapping up with the family fireworks show on Penn's Landing. It was a great, if exhausting, day. And today, we rest. Poor DH has a killer ear infection that might just land him in the hospital today for our first hospital visit of the New Year. Other than that, rather than head down to the Free Family Day at the Kimmel as we'd intended, I think we'll lay low, watch the Mummers on TV and have some pork and sauerkraut later. Hope you all spend the day with your families doing whatever makes you most happy.
