I have been so blessed in my life to know not just all my grandparents but also to have known many of my great grandparents as well. Grandparents have had such a special and important role in my life and have meant so much to me over the years. I can't imagine how my life would have been without them. If you aren't lucky enough to have grandparents around "adopt"an elderly neighbor or your spouse's grandparent if you can. And, if you are blessed enough to still have your grandparents cherish them each and every day they are here on this earth with you. And of course, if your parents are still with you, cherish your children's grandparents for the sweet gift they are! Not just today but every day. For their time with us is fleeting but their gift of love lasts us forever.
Hug your grandparents extra tight today if you're lucky enough to have that chance today!
