Thank you to Safety 1st for providing phillyfun4kids with an UltraMax Air 360 4-in-1 Car Seat for review. All opinions are our own and we encourage you to try out the product for yourself.
If you’re anything like my family, we spend a ton of time in the car. We’re either shuttling back and forth to school and birthday parties and other extracurricular activities or we’re on the road to visit family or for local getaway day trips. So it really shook me to the core when we had not one but two accidents with our kids in the car over the summer. (You can go here to read more about our accidents this summer and how I realized that the car seats we had been using were no longer safe after these accidents by working with the Safety 1st car safety check experts here.) So you can understand why having the opportunity to test out and use the new UltraMax™ AIR 360 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat ($259) has been amazing as I now feel like our kids really are better protected when we’re out on the road.
The Safety 1st UltraMax™ AIR 360 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat has so many incredible features but you kind of have to think about the most important one – AIR! Your child is protected from absolutely every angle because The UltraMax Air 360 is the only 4-in-1 car seat that features 360 Protect™ for 6 layers of proven safety. The Air Protect®cushioning system provides immediate crash protection with the most advanced side impact energy management system available. GCell® HX further displaces crash energy around the child’s torso. The steel reinforced frame adds stability to the seat. A deep seat structure helps shield your child, keeping your little one cozy and contained. Soft foam, used throughout the seat makes a comfortable first contact in every touchable location. The motion control headrest contains movement and easily adjusts to 10 different heights, ensuring that you can give your child the best fit for the best protection as they grow.
Because it is a 4-in-1 car seat it will grow with your child from infancy up through when they won’t need to be in a car seat anymore. The four stages that this car seat accommodates are: rear-facing for small babies 4-22 pounds, extended rear-facing for toddlers 15-50 pounds, forward-facing 22-65 pounds, and belt-positioning booster 40-120 pounds and 57″ tall. Cool, huh?? No more getting rid of the infant seat or the convertible seat for a booster. Now, your child can stay in the same seat (assuming you do not have any accidents!) until they are able to be in their seat without support. It really is the only car seat you’ll need to buy for your baby as it adapts to keep them safe through four different stages of development.
And of course cleaning the seat is easy thanks to the ClickClean™ pad. The pad is very simple to remove and is both machine washable and dryer safe. A quick push of the button on the side of the seat and a couple snaps allow you to easily lift the pad off. This is essential with seats for little ones because between potty training, stomach bugs, and meals on the go we all know how easy it is for seats to get messy.
Keeping our precious cargo (our kids!) safe while in the car is so important for our modern over scheduled and crazy busy families, right? Please make sure you have read and understood the new car seat laws in PA and that you really are using the safest car seat you possibly can!
You can purchase the UltraMax™ AIR 360 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat at your local BabiesRUs. Retail price is $249.
