As part of #ThisIsLove, Epic Church invites you to join them on Saturday, July 28th, as Elsa and Olaf give out 1,000 ice pops at the Art Museum Steps. Why ice pops? Who doesn’t like a cold treat on a hot day? #ThisIsLove involved over 500 people serving in 40 different service opportunities around Philadelphia to care for the people of our city during the month of July. It also included donating over $40,000 to local nonprofits. Free.
14th Annual East Passyunk Car Show and Street Festival

Don’t miss the annual East Passyunk Car Show and Street Festival taking place Sunday July 28th from 11am – 4pm. In addition to an array of antique, show, classic and custom cars, trucks and motorcycles, families can expect a craft show, live music, food vendors and a kids’ area with a moonbounce and roaming stilt walkers.

Enjoy The Kids Korner Garden Saturday and Sunday as part of the XPoNential Music Festival fun for families. Kids Korner host, Kathy O’Connell will be “planted” inside the Garden and hosting the family fun line-up all day long. The Camden Children’s Garden is designed for children and families. It is a special place to explore and discover the natural world. Your #XPNfest wristband gets you access to the Garden both Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am-5pm.

Head to Summerfest at Blue Cross River Rink this weekend to enjoy a warm-weather festival with a roller rink, a boathouse-styled lodge, a play area for kids, food and drink options and events throughout the season. This urban beach area overlooks the Delaware River, complete with lounge chairs and picnic tables to enjoy waterfront views; mini-golf; and a midway with boardwalk-style games, a carousel, a pirate ship and a 60-foot-tall Ferris wheel. Admission is free. Attractions are ticketed. $3 skate admission, $10 skate rental.

Head to the Franklin Institute for MARVEL: Universe of Super Heroes at The Franklin Institute this weekend. The exhibit features more than 300 artifacts, including some of Marvel’s most iconic and sought-after pages, costumes, and props. Immersive set pieces, soundscapes, and interactive elements bring the comic book world to life in this incredible exhibit for comic book fans of all ages. Tickets $35 adults, $31 children.
